Dr. Ben Wadsworth, PhD, our church’s organist and pianist for the last eight years heads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to serve on the faculty of LSU. Sunday, July 13 was his last day with us. His prelude on the piano was a transcription of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” which we sing as “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee.” The postlude, played on the church’s organ, was Widor’s “Toccata.” We will miss both Ben and his wife, Kelly Francis.
